Our FlexShare™ software is a powerful quality-of-service tool for Data ONTAP® 7G storage systems. It lets you assign individual priorities to multiple application workloads consolidated on a single system.

FlexShare software is a Data ONTAP software feature that lets you consolidate with confidence. Using it, you can tune how your system should prioritize its resources during conditions of high system utilization.

FlexShare gives you five priority levels that you can set on a volume-by-volume basis.

  • Prioritize specific data sets and change priorities as often as needed.
  • Set per-volume and per-cache policies and specify the relative priorities of volumes.
