MD Mike Lyons Cycles to Paris for Marie Curie Cancer Care
05 September 2007
The challenge links two great European cities on a 300km journey which finishes at the awe-inspiring Eiffel Tower on September 7-10.
Setting off from London s Crystal Palace we cycle through rolling countryside on your way towards Newhaven where you ll catch a ferry to Dieppe.
From Dieppe we head through sleepy Normandy villages with some changing hills to conquer along the way.
On day three we will arrive in Paris, entering the city via its most famous park, the verdant Bois de Boulogne.
From here it s just a few kilometres along wide Parisian boulevards to the finish line, the iconic Eiffel Tower.
